Seeking Part-Time Park Maintenance Director

The Town of Millersburg is seeking a dedicated, hands-on Part-Time Park Maintenance Director to oversee and care for our community's green spaces. This role involves managing park facilities, operating ground equipment, and maintenaing athletic fields to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for all residents.
Job Responsibilities
-Facility Oversight: Direct the overall maintenance and general upkeep of Town parks, including Cook Station, Pocket Park, and Eagle Park.
-Groundskeeping: Handle weed controll, water flowers, collect and dispose of trash, and maintain park equipment.
-Mowing Operations: Execute refular mowing and coordinate with the Street Department weekly to determine assistance needs at designated parks.
-Atheltic Facilities: Prepare, line, and maintain park ball diamonds and the football field.
-Safety Compliance: Monitor and enforcement park safety standards and address any needed equipment repairs.
Qualificiations & Requirements
-Education: HIgh School Diploma or GED
-Experience: Previous experience in ground maintenance, including the ability to operate, maintain, and repair machinery.
-Physical: Must be able to perform physical labor and heavy lifting.
-Certifications: Valid driver's license.
-Soft Skills: Strong leadership and time-management skills, proven facility oversight, and a positive attitude for public interaction.
